I Miss You Terribly!

Ethel Weckerly Catlin, 91, of 3409 Geer Hwy, wife of the late Everett L. Catlin, passed away Friday, September 18, 2009 at the McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville.
Born in Casper, Wyoming, she was the daughter of the late John Elmer and Carrie Burch Weckerly. Mrs. Catlin worked for 24 years in the cloth room at JP Stevens Plant in Slater. She also worked 7 ½ years as a Teacher's Aide for Tigerville, Slater-Marietta Elementary and Northwest Middle School. She was dedicated to Meals on Wheels, delivering meals for over 10 years. She was a member of Slater United Methodist Church for over 50 years and a member of the Slater United Methodist Women's Society.
Surviving are her three sons: David B. Catlin of Powdersville, John Michael Catlin (Linda) and Jeffery C. Catlin, both of Marietta; four granddaughters: Chantee C. Revels (Richard) of Travelers Rest, Dawn C. Strait (Rob) of Greenville, Cynthia C. Sinclair (Randy) of Union and Lynn C. Jackson (Jason) of Marietta; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter and a sister, Myrtle W. Mull of Marietta.
She was predeceased by three sisters: Carol Winterrowd, Margaret Shewbert and Jane Loop; two brothers: Bob Weckerly and Jack Weckerly.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening, September 20, 2009 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary.
Funeral services will be held Monday morning, September 21, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Slater United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Travelers Rest.
